It was certainly an exciting weekend for to-be-weds at the 2012 Her World Brides’ Fabulous Weddings show.
The contestants of Her World Brides' Bride of the Year 2012
With 14 great booths – featuring the best salons, photographers, venue providers and beauty services – offering a range of exciting deals and offers, their big day shopping just got better, and a lot easier. Nail care expert, Secret Chamber Nails, showed off popular colours and finishes, and delighted ladies with complimentary express manicure services. Tinydot Photography was on-site to flaunt snapshot portfolios, while designers had dazzling wedding dresses on display.
But the most attention-garnering highlight of the event was the very first Bride of The Year contest. Twelve lovely young brides-to-be beat dozens of hopefuls to sashay down the catwalk, donning gorgeous creations by top bridal boutiques Bridal Concept, Bridal De Couture, Bridal Zone, Golden Horse Awards and Yvonne Creative. Eight were selected to vie for the title at the June 17 finals.
Don't miss out on this event !

Recently i have been blessed ... with keeping myself busy not only with my own summer nails collection but also collaboration with a local brand L'ile Aux Ashby !
As all of you know, based on my past nail collections , i worked with local talents that motivates me to do more . When Rayson Tan , designer for L'ile aux Ashby approached me with this collaboration , i am extremely thrilled and excited ! I immediately agreed to it !
This was taken by Photographer John Tan of Streetpeek , with lovely blogger Rana of Bonjour Singapore .
The concept is to create different street style looks mix and match with L'ile aux Ashby latest collection "Prodigy of Colours" which best represents the bloggers' style.
And also with gorgeous blogger/photographer Lenne on the set , where to look out for the latest trend but here !
The nail designs were something very different from what i do for my clients. With tons of coordination and referencing , i came up with 2 sets of graphical nails for the shoot. Trust me , its consecutive days of sleepless night and making sure im wide awake in the day. Both designs are of pop colors, matching up with Rayson collection , the designs are visual which stands out .
L'ile aux Ashby will be having a pop-up store and showcase on 13July - 14July .
13 July by invites only
14 July open to public
Showcasing works of his Pre-Spring 2013 collection " Prodigy of Colors" as well as with our collaborative installations !
We hope to see you !
